Watertown Daily Times, March 17, 1917: Henry Pero received word last night of the death of his mother, Mrs. Mary Pero, which occurred in Syracuse yesterday. She was the widow of the late Michael Pero of Ogdenburg who died a number of years ago and for the last 15 years, had resided with her daughters, Mrs. A. E. Keller and Mrs. George W. Leonard in Syracuse. She was 75 years of age. She had been in poor health since sustaining a stroke about a year ago. The remains will be brought to Ogdensburg this evening and taken to the home of her son Henry at 48 Lafayette St., where the funeral will be held Monday morning, thence to Notre Dame Church.
Mary Rehor Pero is buried in Notre Dame Cemetery with husband Michael Pero and son Henry M. Pero. Michael Paro was a Civil War veteran: Co. A., 16th NY Infantry, buried at Notre Dame Cemetery.
I had a birthday for Mary of April 30, 1848, but don't know the source and 1870 census indicates she was born in 1844.
