    • - George Pitcher was the son of Charles W. and Nellie Kelso Pitcher. He attended Canton, N.Y. schools. He worked at the Pahler Packing Company, Inc. in Potsdam, N.Y. for 28 years as a truck driver, retiring in 1969. He worked in the maintenance department of the Raquette Acres Apartments in Potsdam where he lived from 1973 to 1982. When he died he was survived by five sisters; Mrs. Dorothy Podd (Florida), Mrs. Bart (Betty) Barton of Parishville, Mrs. Herbert (Arvilla) Fisher of Nicholville, Mrs. Richard (Helen) Grant of Potsdam, and Mrs. Stuart (Judy) Papaw of Canton.
