Habitait la région des Trois-Rivières" which translates to: Pierre Pineau dit la Perle returned by the Iroquois. Lives in the Three Rivers area. Pierre was among many early settles of Quebec (then, Kebec) to be captures by the Iroquois.
- Pierre Pineault/Pineau/Pinot dit LaPerle was born 20 Nov 1625 in St. Ouen sur les Fossés, Le Mans, Maine, France, and died 27 Aug 1708 in Ste. Anne de la Pérade, Champlain, QC. He married Anne Boyer 14 May 1658 presumed Trois Rivières, daughter of Pierre Boyer and Catherine Vinet. She was born 02 Dec 1632 in Notre Dame de Cognes, La Rochelle, Aunis, France, and died 09 Dec 1704 in Ste. Anne de la Pérade, Champlain, QC. Pierre was baptized by Father Morieult on 20 November 1625 in the parish of Saint-Ouen-sur-lès-Fossés in Le Mans, Maine, the son of Pascal Pineau and Jeanne Marteau. His godparents were Jean Belot and Francoise Vincende. Pierre is noted at Trois Rivières on 04 December 1648. Jean and his wife are listed with three children in the 1666 at Trois Rivières. The family moved to La Pérade by the time of the 1681 census. Pierre Pineau dit Laperle died 27 August 1708 and was buried the next day at La Pérade.
