      Ernest L. Guerin Sr., 45, died Thursday, June 11, 1998, at his residence.

      He was born June 30, 1952, in Plattsburgh, the son of Louis and Vera (Guay) Guerin.

      Mr. Guerin was an avid horseman and a member of the Eastern Draft Horse Association.

      Survivors include his wife, the former Gail Bissette of Moors Forks; two sons, Ernest Guerin, Jr. of Mooers Forks and Francis Guerin of Mooers; two daughters, Amy Elvidge of West Chazy and Christina Layher of Virginia.

      A brother, Irving Guerin of Ellenburg Depot; two sisters, Marion Richards of Perrys Mills and Donna Guerin of St. Chrysostome, Quebec;12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

      His first wife, Barbara, and a daughter Wanda, died earlier.

      A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Ann's Church in Moors Forks.
