  - From Hubbard History and Genealogy: Ann Hubbard was born in England and came over with her brother Anthony and settled in Dedham, MA. She married William Barstow who, with brother Geroge, came to New England in 1636 on the sthip Truelove from London and were of the original founders of the Plantation of Dedham. This marriage was the third celebrated after founding of the town. She joined the church in 1639. The Barstows reached some prominence during the early colonial period. The family afterward removed to Scituate, RI where William died Jan. 1, 1669. Ann then married John Prince of Hull.
