This is a great site. My mother was Sandra Pribble. Her parents were Ester and Lester Pribble. Lesters parents were Helen and Frank Recore to add to your data base if you would like. I can remember my mother talking about the Como family ties, but didn't recall the names. Thank you for the great site and information.

Daniel Lamica is my grandfather. And he died very young so it was interesting to see how many brothers & sisters my grandfather had. Never got to meet him! He was the son of Florence Golden Lamica & Alfred Lamica. I always heard stories from my grandmother about the family in Malone and it is pretty neat to actually see how many and their names. Thank you for this info!

Ted - very interesting information. A few years ago I exchanged information with you on the Ogdensburg Recores. You determined that you and I are, I believe, 3rd cousins. I am looking for the location of Paul Michael Recore (father, Gerald; sister, MaryAnn(Marianne?). He is my first cousin and lost contact about 50 years ago.If you or anyone has any current info, I'd appreciate it. Keep up the great work!!

Ted,the Recore ancestry work is excellent. My paternal grandmother was Mary pearl Recore (Cortwright). As you can see the last name for Mary Pearls kids was changed and is still used. I found the name change interesting. You mentioned in the Como ancestry:Quote" Earl Recore's older sister had a daughter named Ruth (nickname Chi Chi). She had other children too. Their oldest son was James Courtwright. She believes they live in Syracuse, NY". This is correct, and James (~90)and Ruth (~70's) are still living. My interest is this: The relationship between Gertie Levanture, Joseph Recore, Dolphis & Emily & Eugene Trombley. Also, is a Alex Levanture "in the mix". Any comments? Again, the Recore site was interesting. Thanks for your time. Bill

I am interested in your Matthias & Azeline Moreau Ricard family. 2 of my lines married 2 of their sons --- Diogene Ricard married Maria Marleau & Raoul Ricard married Florida Legault (Miron descendant). French Canadian genealogy is a small world!!!

The lefebvre tree was interesting. My husband's Great Grandfather came to Australia in the 1850s. His tree goes back to 1600s in La prairie. My granddaughter is Claire Francois Lefebvre.
