  Moisan (Françoise) An article from the Memoire du Quebec (2018). She was born around 1644 in Saint-Barthélemi parish of La Rochelle (Charente-Maritime, Aunis, France). The surname is also spelled Moizane. Daughter of the King arrived at Quebec on June 30, 1663 on board the ship Phoenix . Mother of the Brunet / Moisan America lineage. Wife (first nuptials) Antoine Brunet dit Bellehumeur in Ville-Marie (Montreal) on November 28, 1663 ; Francois Brunet dit Bellehumeur (married to Anne Menard), Marie-Françoise Brunet (married to Jean Patenaude), Catherine Brunet (married to Pierre Patenaude), Élisabeth Brunet (married to Rene Beaujean), Genevieve Brunet (married to Louis Tetreau) and Marguerite Brunet (married to Jacques Tetreau).
