  Goard (Mathurine) An article from the Memoire du Quebec (2018). Born around 1651 in the Saint-Sulpice parish of Paris (Ile-de-France, France). Daughter of the King arrived at Quebec on August 11, 1666 aboard the ship Saint-Jean-Baptiste . Mother of the lineage Marie / Goard of America. Wife Louis Marie said Sainte-Marie in Ville-Marie (Montreal) on May 31, 1667 ; of this union are from Michel-Sidrac Marie said Sainte-Marie (married to Marguerite Brosseau), Marie-Catherine Marie (married to Jérôme Longtin ), Antoine Marie (married to Marie Séguin), Angélique-Marie Marie (married to René Dupuis) , Marie Marie (married to François Brossard), François Marie dit Sainte-Marie (married to Marguerite Bourbon) and Antoinette Marie (married to Jean Jeanne). Death in 1720 (December 9) at the Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal. In 1729 , she had 107 descendants.
